Each year millions of people from different sects, religion and culture gather to mark the 40th (day of Martyrdom) of the grand son of Prophet Muhammad(pbuh), Imam Hussain(as).
Many walk from Najaf to Karbala as part of pilgrimage and show solidarity against terrorism, that the grandson of Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) faced himself.
Walk to Karbala is roughly around 80km, and people finish it in 2 to 3 days.
Along the route there are facilities, that includes FREE shelter, food, massage, medical camps and tea stalls.Main purpose behind Arbaeen Walk App is to give user basic information offline, that will help people during their walk to Karbala.
